Nadal- a Potent killer

Yes, a new king has been crowned at the Wimbledon this year. Breaking the monotony of someone winning the competition FIVE years in a row, Rafael Nadal has done more than becoming a champion at a Grand Slam.

He has won two in a row now, and not surprisingly defeated the same player(World No. 1) in the finals. Though everyone thought that Nadal was the King of Clay and Grass was Fedex’s undisputed territory, this is surely more than trespassing in Federer’s area. This is more like building a castle in his region and blowing your trumpet and clearly warning that i have my eyes set on this region as well.

The Spaniard Nadal has a reason to celebrate, since he has put his country on the Sporting map once again this year, and done his country proud. He will surely take rest now and start preparing soon cause he knows, Federer is now a wounded tiger.

Federer is yet to win a Grand slam this year and guess his World ranking wont be affected at this stage of the year. But the slowly approaching US Open, now surely promises, a clash of heroes, putting Huge pressure on Federer, who has point to prove, despite being World No. 1.
U think this marks the end of no competition era for Fedex, and he has to fight for every competition from here on, cause not only Nadal, but Djokovic, Tsonga and even the old Tiger Safin, have been knocking Destiny’s door this year.

All in all, the Tennis calendar this year, promises to be more fun than ever, and may get one nostalgic, reminding us of the Borg- McEnroe times!!!!
